We begin with a kick-off call to orient you with our planning resources, our overall six phased planning process and talk about the first steps in planning your wedding.
Hint: the first step in the process is not booking your venue.

There are a few foundational steps we take before we begin booking any vendors to make sure we’re exceeding your expectations and staying within your budget.
Those things include understanding your wedding priorities (every couple is different), completing an initial budget breakdown by category and you completing your guest list.

this is where we bring the vision in your head to life
We believe that your wedding day should be a true reflection of you and your fiance.
This is why we created an 8-week process that allows us to develop a custom design for our clients that include detailed renderings, textile swatches, floor layouts, etc. so you can get a full grasp of what your wedding will look like in advance.
We don’t believe in just pulling together a Pinterest board or compiling images for you to look at. We want you fully immersed in the design we have created for you and then we get your feedback on anything you would like adjusted.

As we get closer to your wedding day, we will confirm all details with every vendor and also fine tune all of our logistical documents used to execute the wedding day.

CAN I STILL AFFORD A WEDDING IF I HIRE A PLANNER?
Yes! With our guidance, we actually save our clients thousands of dollars by ensuring they don’t make costly mistakes.
Since this is your first time getting married, there are a lot of new things you will uncover and your wedding day is far too important to get it wrong.
With over 8 years of experience, we have the knowledge to help you get the wedding you want within budget.
We help our clients set a realistic wedding budget before we book any vendors and we manage all expenses and payments throughout the planning process so nothing is missed.

HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING COST?
Weddings are an investment of time, effort and money.
A good starting point for a one-day wedding is at least $350 per guest. Our clients tend to care more about design, decor and an elevated experience for their guests and spend at least $450+ per guest.
This “per guest” figure includes all vendors needed for your wedding but does not include your wedding bands, honeymoon and attire.
A 2019 Wedding Wire survey noted that couples spend, on average, 20% more than their initial wedding budget due to their initial budget being unrealistic.
We help our clients create and manage a realistic budget throughout the entire planning process to ensure they stay on budget.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK YOU?
The sooner, the better. We limit our availability to a select number of clients per year so our weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly, especially during the summer and fall. The sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date.
We typically work with clients on average of 8 months to fully plan and design their wedding but giving yourself more time to plan is always a good idea.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW THE TRADITIONAL NIGERIAN CUSTOMS?
No problem! We plan Nigerian weddings for a living and have experiences with many different cultural weddings (e.g. Yoruba, Igbo, Edo, etc.) as well as combining another culture alongside a Nigerian wedding so both cultures shine.
We will guide you through the customs and details needed for a traditional wedding including the order of events, attire, etc.
